Ideas and experiences from our church members
A son is born! What does this mean?
Here are some of the Bible promises:
There is deliverance for the captives of sense.
Sight is restored to the blind.
Those who are hurt/damaged will be restored.
The is light when all seems dark.
His government is here and will increase.
With his government there is judgment, justice, equality.
God has set before us an open door that no person can close.
We will see the glory of God.
There will be mercy for those who are afflicted.
What we ask for, righteously, we will receive.
The longing soul will be fed and the hungry soul will be filled with goodness.
We will come out of the shadow of death.
Restraints will be broken.
Salvation is here and now.
We can begin now to see ourselves as God sees us.
Thanks be to God for His/Her unspeakable gift of the Christ, and for the great revelation of Christian Science, to explain to us what the Christ means for us!
And thanks be to God that this Christ-message is protected by God from the stress, apathy, ignorance, materiality, hatred, etc. that the world can dish out. As convention could not make Joseph abandon Mary, the fear and hatred of Herod could not prevent the message that put the young Jesus safely out of his reach, and the cross could not prevent the resurrection, Christ and Christian Science will survive and thrive!
